Session Information

How do I prepare for my session

After you’ve booked a session I will send you some pointers about how to prepare to bring out your best.

When will I get my images

As the top headshot photographer in Connecticut, my schedule is pretty full. Unless you select a rushed delivery option, please be patient as it can take 1-2 weeks to retouch your image(s).

Do you shoot pictures outside

Not usually. The lighting in my studio is top of the line and the most flattering for a headshot. It also does not rain in my studio.

How many photos do you take

I’m serious about my satisfaction guarantee, so we’ll keep going until we’ve got several special headshots for you to choose from. Before you leave you’ll know I succeeded in bringing out your best.

How long does this take

I know you’re busy, so I try to not to keep you in the studio longer than than your schedule allows. However, since we won’t stop until we’re satisfied that I’ve brought out your best, it depends. Budget at least 20 minutes per outfit.

Should I use a makeup artist

Even though I am meticulous about retouching, there is a limit to what I can accomplish with post-production software. Makeup can emphasize your best features, outline your eyes, perk up your smile, and enhance your complexion in a way that naturally reflects your best self. Professional makeup artists are wonder workers who can crank up your headshot from a perfect 10 to a mind-blowing 11.

Can I bring a friend

Of course they’re welcome! I want the experience to be as comfortable and easy for you as possible, and friends & family can help. Children and pets are invited to tag along too.

What format are the images

JPGs.

How do I download my files

I will email the final files straight to your inbox.

Do you offer prints, discs, or thumb drives

By having your headshot digital files you have complete freedom to get them printed or transferred however you want. I’d rather not interfere with that freedom, so I’m sticking to 100% digital.
